As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in SC, Ms. Sweeney has worked in the field of mental health counseling since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology, with a concentration in Substance Abuse Treatment from Argosy University; and a Master of Art in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Ms. Sweeney began her counseling career as an intern at a local Intensive Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Center for women, and over the years, has worked as an Inpatient and Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor for Adolescents and Adults, In-home Child and Family Therapist, School-based Child Therapist, and Addiction Educator. In addition to providing clinical therapeutic services, Ms. Sweeney is an Adjunct Instructor at Greenville Technical College where she teaches General Psychology; and the University of the People (online) where she teaches Emotional Intelligence. Throughout her career, she has been honored to serve people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. She looks forward to serving her clients and students as she helps each of them fulfill their personal and/or academic goals.
