At Carolina Wellness & Recovery, we provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using a whole-person approach to recovery. Our program combines appropriate medications (oral or long-acting injectable options), counseling, ongoing support, and individualized treatment planning to help people reduce substance use, manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms, and build lasting stability.
We treat individuals struggling with:
- Opioids, including but not limited to: heroin, fentanyl, and prescription pain medications
- Kratom and concentrated kratom products, including 7-OH
- Alcohol
- Other substance-use concerns that may benefit from individualized medical and behavioral support
Because every person’s experience with addiction is different, we create a customized treatment plan based on your symptoms, substance-use history, recovery goals, and overall health. Treatment may include FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine or naltrexone when clinically appropriate, along with counseling and regular follow-up care.

Once your plan is in place, you'll typically have monthly appointments unless you or your provider determine that more frequent visits are necessary.
